To create a positive school climate, the principal utilizes human resources to ensure that the needs of the students are met. Oliver Middle School has three secretaries who work with students, teachers, and parents to provide a nurturing environment for learning. The office is staffed with a bookkeeper/secretary, a secretary clerk, and a guidance clerk to assist with student records, payroll, attendance procedures, and parent volunteers. Our ISS teacher gives student's an opportunity to take a time out and correct their behavior while completing their assignments. The cafeteria staff provides a well balanced menu, and a five person custodial staff maintains a safe and clean building in which our students can learn. Other people who are an important part of our school include the school psychologist and nurse. |
