Hello Parents and Students:
This is my 3rd year teaching 5th grade Math, Science and Social Studies at Oliver. Before that, I taught 6th grade Reading and Language Arts at Oliver. The expectations I have for your children are high and I know they will meet them.
I graduated from University of Northern Colorado in 1992 with a Bachelor’s in Science in Dietetics. I graduated from Aquinas Collage in 2004 with an Elementary Education Degree.
My belief of math, science and social studies is that it is everywhere. We use math and science everyday. My hope is that your child will see and understand the world we live in better by using science, math and social studies.
On a more personal note, my son, Cade, is in the 4th grade at David Youree Elementary in Smyrna, TN. I have 2 cats, Digit and Crocket, and a dog, Sookie. We live in Smyrna TN. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, walking, hiking and participating in church activities.
