What is Art to STEM?
Art to STEM is a club for 7th and 8th grade girls that focuses on exposing girls to opportunities and hands-on experiences in STEM related careers:
Science
Technology
Engineering
Mathematics
Coaches and Mentors work together with members to develop relationships with mentors and peers through the following:
- Hands-on exploratory activities
- Cooperative learning opportunities using real-world experiences
- Developing communication and problem-solving skills
- Field trips to colleges, universities, and businesses
- Summer camp for successful participation
