Who Attends Our School?
Students attending Oliver live in the southern most area of Davidson County and are zoned to Overton High School. The elementary schools in the Overton cluster are: Norman Binkley, Crieve Hall, Granbery, Haywood, Shayne and Tusculum. Middle schools are Croft Design Center, McMurray, and W.H. Oliver.
Community Partners
Oliver is very fortunate to have an active Parent Teacher Association (PTA).Our parents, teachers, and staff work together to promote the success of every student. Our PTA is organizing an Invest in Your Child campaign to raise money for technology and other instructional materials for our students and teachers. Other fundraising activities are “Box Top for Education,” cell phone and printer cartridge recycling, and Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough sale.
PENCIL Partners
PENCIL Foundation, a nonprofit organization, links community resources with Nashville public schools. A PENCIL Partner is a business or other community organization that teams up with a Metro school to volunteer time and donate resources that promote student success.
